Yitzi Whitman
Yitzi trained one-on-one under Sofer Yanky Schwartz — whose handwriting forms the basis of the premier 'Guide for Professional Scribes' (Tikun Sofrim). Yitzi writes in a wide variety of sizes utilizing custom-made ceramic nibs and the occasional feather. His work has been exhibited in a prominent New York gallery.

Pen & Ink captures the essence of our collaboration — where the precision of the scribe's pen meets the boundless expression of artistic vision. The pen represents Yitzi's meticulous craftsmanship and sacred scribal tradition, while the ink symbolizes Chasya's artistic depth.
The name also honors pen and ink as a timeless artistic medium — where stark contrasts, delicate linework, and bold gestures create works of profound beauty.
